‘Fear the Walking Dead’ spoilers: Take a video peek at things behind the scenes

Production is underway as of right now on “Fear the Walking Dead,” and even though there may not be a whole lot in the way of story that is known to viewers at home, there is still a significant reason to be excited. After all, this is a chance for more zombies on your TV screen, in the same universe as the one you already love!

The video below is just a quick taste of what is being worked on behind the scenes, and also a few reminders as to the story. We are going to the days right after the apocalypse began, and we are in the other side of the country in Los Angeles. The show is actually being filmed for the most part in Vancouver, but this city is very good as a stand-in for a variety of other locales.

One other little thing that is important about this video is that it gives you a quick taste of Dave Erickson, who is going to be the showrunner and one of the chief creative forces of the series alongside Robert Kirkman. These two clearly have a huge task ahead for them, since there is a certain level of quality that you expect to see from this franchise and there are already skeptics wondering whether or not everything is being stretched a little too thin.

The new season does not have a premiere date just yet, but based on everything we know at the moment, we can tell you that the show should start later this summer.
