‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Tanner Tolbert, possible contender

We are almost at the end of spotlighting all of the contestants for this season of “The Bachelorette,” which in turn of course makes us want to ask ABC to try to not have your announcement of the contestants air so closely to the start of the show ever again. We’ve been doing five of these articles a day, and that’s a pretty rigorous thing to handle!

With Tanner Tolbert now, we have someone who comes across as probably one of the nicer people we’ve spotlighted so far this season … at least based on what we know. However, we also do not exactly know a whole lot about him other than that he comes across as a nice guy and that he likes country music.

Name – Tanner Tolbert

Age – 28

Hometown – Kansas City, Missouri. He may have to carry the torch for Kansas City, given that the other current representative of the area is Ryan McGill, otherwise known as the guy who looks to get really drunk and cause all sorts of shenanigans in the premiere.

Occupation – Auto finance manager. Really, this has to be one of the most boring occupations that we’ve seen this season. The silver lining is that means he was probably cast as a contender rather than a character.

First impression – He’s soft-spoken, seems to want to find love, and feels like he is going to be the voice for many of the people watching at home.

Worst Impression – Unfortunately, he does not really give off almost any impression other than that. He’s pretty boring in terms of the information that is online, and that can make him forgotten about easily. Maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised?
