‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Ryan Beckett, realtor and adventure-seeker
There are always a few contestants on “The Bachelorette” each season that tend to sell themselves on some of their accomplishments, and this time around Ryan Beckett is definitely that guy. He has done a lot in his life, whether it be charity work, traveling, getting an MBA, and working as a Realtor in Florida. He’s got a lot on paper going for him entering this season.
So will all of this translate to the show? Right now, he is probably one of Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson’s biggest wild cards. We think he could be a contender, but he is also somewhat guarded with one or two exceptions online and we’re still trying to find out about him.
Name – Ryan Beckett
Age – 32
Location – Wellington, Florida. It’s a town about an hour and fifteen minutes north of Miami, and in the Palm Beach area.
Occupation – Realtor. Really speaks for itself here. It’s not the most exciting job by TV standards, but it is a good one for this show since it is appealing and proves you are pretty successful.
First impression – Very smart, good fashion taste, and he looks a little like a guy he really admires in Seth MacFarlane meets Jef from Emily Maynard’s season. Given that he rode a bicycle from Florida all the way to California for a dog rescue, he’s also somewhat spontaneous and charitable. It means he’s got some interesting stories to tell!
Worst impression – Apparently, he accidentally posted a photo meant for his girlfriend once on Twitter … which means that he should probably stay away from using Twitter for photos at all, just in case.
Prediction – Ryan seems to be a good fit for the competition, and he could go pretty far in it. He’s not tremendously exciting, but sometimes the contenders really aren’t.
