‘Survivor: Second Chance’: Why ‘Troyzan’ Robertson is worthy of your vote

troyRemember back on “Survivor: One World,” where we had a Troyzan, a Tarzan, and a few other guys who seemed to have no clue how to play the game? That was such a strange season, and it was also such a predictable one because of Kim Spradlin being such a masterful player because no one in her alliance even briefly seemed to consider targeting her until it was too late in the game to do anything about it.

Troy “Troyzan” Robertson was one of the few who really did actually try to make some moves against her, and that is why he was perceived as such a threat and eventually voted off. He’s the sort of person you knew would be around to return at some point, and now “Survivor: Second Chance” is his opportunity. Will he make it? We’re going to discuss his odds, as we have done in so many other articles as of late, below.

Past experience – “Survivor: One World” (8th place)

Why you should vote for him – Troyzan’s definitely a character, especially when you take away his alliance and he feels like he is completely alone in the game. How else do you get him to shout “this is my island” again? A vote for Troyzan is a vote for entertainment, and also someone in the vein of maybe Terry or Savage who is going to play with a certain code, work hard in challenges, and probably be at least reasonably loyal.

Why you wouldn’t vote for him – Maybe you’re already voting for some of those other guys, or you just feel like you’ve already seen a lot of his game. He’s never going to be under the radar, so maybe you feel like you would rather see a more calculated season without some of the super-big personalities.

Our prediction – We hate to be down the middle here, but Troyzan’s probably one of those people who will be between 8th and 12th in the voting. He’s fairly memorable and that helps him, and the majority of the public who watched him at the time loved him. He is probably hurt by this vote not being two years ago, back when he was so much fresher in the minds of many.
