‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20 rankings: Nastia Liukin, Riker Lynch, Rumer Willis lead final 4

Nastia -Is this the “Dancing with the Stars” final four we envisioned going into the season? It’s surprisingly close. While technically this group would be the strongest if Willow Shields was here in the place of Noah Galloway, we knew his story would get him far. Also, there is traditionally at least one person who goes earlier in a season than they really should.

What makes both the finale and this edition of our contestant rankings so interesting now is mostly that in theory, Noah will be the next contestant to go based on scores. However, viewers are a powerful bunch, and since nobody left has ever been in serious jeopardy in our mind, who knows  where the viewer loyalty truly lies right now? We’re most ranking on a combination of scores plus where we think that it lies going into the show on Monday night.

4. Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess – It wouldn’t remotely shock us if he sticks around, but for the time being we have to at least consider the possibility that the divide in the scores at this point is just too much.

3. Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy – Rumer may go down as one of the best third-place finishers in the history of the show. It’d be great to see Val finally win a season, but we would say that we would count on the public to get more collectively behind an Olympian.

2. Riker Lynch and Allison Holker – This is where it gets so tricky. In terms of skill, the final two are almost equal; we’re just thinking mostly here about who is the more memorable star to the show’s older viewer base, and also who has the more popular partner.

1. Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough / Sasha Farber – Also, we’re going with who we’ve ranked #1 almost the whole season. We actually think Derek’s injury has helped to bring more attention to someone who was already at the forefront of almost everything in the first place.
