‘The Flash’ episode 22 spoilers: Longer ‘Rogue Air’ promo features Captain Cold’s return

Remember some of those rumors from Danielle Panabaker that the final episodes of “The Flash” could be a little frostier than anything we’ve seen so far? Given that the particle accelerator may be getting turned on again during Tuesday night’s new episode entitled “Rogue Air,” are may be getting a little bit closer to seeing the alter ego of Killer Frost born … or at least we would hope so.

Enough speculating, at least for now: The new promo for Tuesday’s episode features above all else the return of Captain Cold, and a plan for Barry Allen that could backfire. As a means to prevent any lives lost by Harrison Wells’ latest plan, Barry decides to figure out a way to move some of the captured criminals. He recruits the help of Wentworth Miller’s character along with his sister Lisa, but as you should know, this is a guy who really should not be trusted! Why Barry even thinks about asking him for help is surprising.

Of course, this is the episode that is also going to be featuring the return of Firestorm, and also an appearance by Oliver Queen as the two parties help Barry potentially with stopping Wells / the Reverse Flash sooner rather than later. Does strength in numbers really work? We’re about to find out.

The craziest thing of all here is strictly that there is still an episode to go after this one, and it already feels like the show is unloading a whole can of crazy.
