‘Arrow’ season 3 finale video: First tease of Grant Gustin appearance

The Flash -Is The Flash going to be present for the final battle in Starling City? While we cannot confirm too much when it comes to the specific events of next week’s “Arrow” finale, we are at least happy to confirm at this moment that Grant Gustin will be a part of the episode! This was first reported yesterday, and he is present in the extended preview for “My Name Is Oliver Queen” below.

So why is Barry helping out? It appears as though Barry may be in Nanda Parbat, so maybe he is the reason why all of Team Arrow survives what happens there? That is at least a pretty reasonable theory for the time being, since they appear to be in dire straits at the end of “This Is Your Sword.” The rest of the promo is for the most part footage we saw already on the original promo, including Oliver making it clear to Ra’s al Ghul that he is fact not Al Sah-Him, and preparing to take the throne as the Demon’s Head.

There is one burning question that we still have, as much as we enjoyed the episode last night: Why in the world was Oliver able to withstand all of the brainwashing? Is it some sort of spectacular resolve, or did he manage to make it through that by some other method? There are some small issues with this season, based on little things like that and how Oliver managed to survive getting knocked off the side of a mountain. There’s not much in the way of answers either way.

Whatever happens in the finale, though, expect it to be in some ways definite. There are at present no indications that there will be an enormous cliffhanger.
