‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 22 preview: Dealing with death in ‘The Prisoner’

Supernatural -Every season, it feels like “Supernatural” makes a pretty big move, and kills off someone considered to be a beloved character. Somehow, that still does not make it any easier to deal with.

We know that there were some out there who saw the end of Charlie (Felicia Day) coming, but for some reason, we still thought that she was such a beacon on the show that the writers wouldn’t get rid of her … even though they’ve already taken out the likes of Bobby, Kevin, and even for a time seemingly Castiel. We don’t know why we thought that she would be spared. “Dark Dynasty” is therefore in many ways the darkest timeline; yet, the show must go on, and it will be doing so next with with “The Prisoner,” an episode that is going to bring about what could be one of the biggest missions when it comes to the Stynes to date.

Just in case you did not know that this episode was important already, The CW gives away almost nothing in its synopsis. You know you have an important episode (and there is only one more this season beyond “The Prisoner”) when they do not give away much:

“When it comes to the Stynes, Dean (Jensen Ackles) decides to take matters into his own hands. Sam (Jared Padalecki) tries to come to terms with his decision.”

We do suppose that it is possible that we do lose another character at some point during the upcoming season. Even still, we’re going to do almost everything that we can in order to hope that this does not happen.
