‘Finding Carter’ season 2, episode 5 preview: New threats and familiar struggles

Let’s start off this “Finding Carter” article with what we feel to be a pretty obvious statement: If you were in Carter’s position on “Finding Carter,” wouldn’t you have a pretty difficult time concentrating on school? We feel like we would and that our grades would be going into the toilet. You are thinking about the lies your parents have told, the fact that you were kidnapped twice, and that nothing in your life ever seems to be stable. Home should be a place to unwind, and a place you look forward to after a long day. Carter doesn’t ever have that sanctuary.

Therefore, that part of the synopsis below from next week’s installment “Wake Up Call” does not surprise us. Then again, neither does the fact that Max has a new job that is landing him potentially in a little bit of trouble:

“Carter is in danger of flunking out of school; Taylor discovers the truth of David’s past; tensions rise at the town fair; and Max’s new job poses a threat.”

One of the other things to watch out for in the next episode of the show is tied simply to relationships. What happens now that Carter and Crash have kissed, or that Taylor is getting closer to Ofe and further away from Max? Are David and Elizabeth really that interested in working things out, or are they going to continue to “put on a brave face” for the sake of the kids? Yes, we have asked a whole plethora of questions in this article, but hopefully we will have answers in just seven days.
