‘Finding Carter’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Is Carter actually helping Lori?

Finding Carter -Is Carter being manipulated by Lori … again? Tuesday night’s new episode of “Finding Carter” is forcing you to ponder this question, and it does so by introducing another twist to the complicated relationship that the two share.

In the new sneak peek below, you can see Carter come to the realization that Lori severely needs help, and she feels like the better place for her to be is an institution rather than jail. Maybe this is a form of Stockholm Syndrome and Carter is just having sympathy for a woman she spent an enormous amount of time with. Or, maybe this is something completely different, and she is trying to act out of basic human decency. She feels like the right thing to do is to ensure that Lori is actually taken care of, and she is willing to do almost everything that she can to ensure that this happens.

As you would expect, Elizabeth is not so thrilled with anything that her daughter is putting down here, telling her that this is not her problem to deal with. Instead, it is Lori’s problem, and she should try to move forward and focus on getting her own life together.

Oh, and one other thing: Is it ultimately possible that Carter is lying about getting the information from one of Lori’s exes about her current situation? Given that she picked up that phone at the end of this past episode, you have to suspect that there may be more communication between them by the time we get to this scene.
