‘Poldark’ episode 8 (finale) spoilers: Story for Aidan Turner, cast
It seems like mere weeks ago that the story of “Poldark” was just beginning on the BBC, but we are now staring directly in the face of what should be a fairly thrilling end to the season. We have already seen the end of one character in Keren, but there is the potential to see so many more shocking circumstances before we are left waiting for the series to return.
While at the moment there is not too much known about the finale, we can at least give you the official synopsis right now. This is a chance to see what sort of material Aidan Turner and the rest of the cast are going to be left with:
“In the final episode of the series, George expands the Warleggan empire, launching a new ship and bankrupting Carnmore. Ross blames Francis, but when Francis and Elizabeth fall sick with a life-threatening illness, Demelza risks her own life to save them.”
How will this story come to a close? We hope that it somehow involves Ross and Demelza finding some sort of happiness (even if it is temporary), and Francis finally discovering some semblance of peace. This is a man that seems to not know the meaning of the words “stay calm,” “stop gambling,” or “don’t get so angry all the time.” We also have to figure out whether or not Ross can keep his own business afloat while dealing with George and his expanding empire. Even though this is not an industrial feeling, we do like how it still embodies that sort of feel.

I love this beautiful and beautifully acted show but I think this finale is going to gut some viewers. I’ve read the novels and I still can’t…

I want Ross to FINALLY realise how lucky he is to have Demelza and forget all about Elizabeth.
