‘Reign’ season 2: See Adelaide Kane in new ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ promo

Reign -The CW is doing very well when it comes to many things pertaining to “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”: They’ve shown loyalty to it for one, and recognize that it can be a decent draw for them even without enormous ratings. Also, they’ve been super-smart when it comes to finding ways to incorporate some of their own talent onto the show. We’ve already seen the likes of Misha Collins (“Supernatural”) and Candice Accola (“The Vampire Diaries”) aboard the series. With that in mind, why not have someone come over from the world of “Reign“?

In the trailer below, you can get a quick look at the new episode airing Friday night at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time featuring Adelaide Kane, who you of course know otherwise as Mary. She will not appear in every sketch, but there should be a couple of fun opportunities for her to be included in games. The one that she is featured in below is “Helping Hands,” a particularly funny one where Ryan Stiles performs a scene with the celebrity guest, only Colin Mochrie operates as his hands. Typically, this leads to someone eating a really disgusting amount of food. Even though the ending is the same most of the time, it’s still funny.

For the record, our current favorite celebrity guest to ever do this scene is Wilson Bethel of “Hart of Dixie” fame. That’s the standard that Kane is going to be trying to match.

For those of you who have never seen “Whose Line?” before, it is basically the sort of silly improv show that you can watch at any time and be thoroughly entertained. Some games are always better than others, but it is a very good way to spend half an hour on a Friday night.
