‘Poldark’ episode 7 preview: Ross stands between Mark and Dwight

If things are going to be getting easier for Ross Poldark at some point in the near future, we are certainly not having the easiest time seeing it at the moment. After all, we have the latest “Poldark” sneak peek below as evidence of that.

In this preview, Aidan Turner’s character faces the tough task of having to be middleman to Dwight and Mark, who certainly are not getting along at the moment for many different reasons. One of the principal ones here is something that definitely would make sense to most out there: Mark is getting suspicious about Dwight and Keren, which leaves Ross in a tricky position. You don’t want to pick sides in a feud, especially when you know there are a bevy of other problems that you are really going to be dealing with at the same time.

Also in this sneak peek, Ross learns of a major setback with the smelting company, which in turn means that he has more trouble coming his way courtesy of George. What this show has done magnificently is taken its time building up some of the tension / struggle between these two characters. Sooner or later that is going to be boiling over, and that should be very interesting to watch in its own way when it comes. Given that there is only one more episode this season, you better hope above all else that this happens sooner rather than later.

We’re going to miss “Poldark” when it goes. We feel like there is a not-so-casual vacancy when it comes to good British series on Sunday night after “Call the Midwife” ends, and this has filled a void.
