‘Outlander’ episode 11 preview: Teases for ‘The Devil’s Mark’

“Outlander” fans, be prepared to gather around your TVs tonight at around 9:00 p.m. Eastern time for “The Devil’s Mark,” an episode that is poignant, complex, and also rather jam-packed at the same time. This is by far our favorite episode of the entire series. We’d explain more as to why, but we would risk giving something away.

Instead, we are continuing our weekly tradition here of offering up some assorted teases for the episode. None of these are too spoilery, but should give you at least some sort of idea as to what to anticipate when this episode ultimately comes on the air Saturday night.

1. This episode will spend a good deal of time trying to answer a key question: Are Claire and Geillis really witches? We know the answers to this; however, convincing everyone at a trial is a very different story.

2. For a few minutes, this may feel like one of the coolest episodes of “Law & Order” that you’ve ever seen.

3. In the midst of many shocking things that happen at the trial, one event in particular completely shocks Claire.

4. Multiple characters will make sacrifices in this episode for the sake of someone else.

5. The second half of this episode will change many things for many people, and will raise just as many questions as it does answers.
