‘Madam Secretary’ spoilers: Elizabeth takes on protests, assassination plots in ‘The Kill List’

Madam Secretary -We are getting closer and closer to the end of “Madam Secretary” season 1, even if it is still a reasonably long time away from the next new episode on Sunday, April 26. Due to the Academy of Country Music Awards, you are going to be forced to wait and deal with at least a hiatus that lasts a few weeks.

So where will the show be when it ultimately returns? Dealing with a variety of different issues in “The Kill List.” This is an installment where Elizabeth McCord is forced into dealing with what are a pretty wide array of problems, with start with taking on an attempt by someone to assassinate the President of Iran. As if that was not bad enough, there are also protests taking place, and relationships between the two countries are at a tipping point. Take a look at the attached synopsis:

“As Elizabeth prepares for the arrival of Iranian President Shiraz to sign a nuclear treaty, she uncovers a top secret plot to assassinate him on United States soil. At the same time, she must deal with a massive protest by the Human Rights Campaign in response to Iran’s plans to stone a gay citizen to death. Also, Elizabeth sees a therapist (Marsha Mason) to deal with her PTSD.”

Is it possible that the show is going to transition from this installment into the finale? It is definitely possible, given that this is the penultimate episode of the entire season. There should be some major shockers coming in the finale, so look out for that!
