‘The Flash’ episode 19 preview: Joe West, Cisco Ramon head to Starling City

The FlashThe Flash” kick-started the final arc of episodes this season with “All-Star Team-Up,” a story that revolved around new arrivals to Central City, a new villain, and a battle-of-the-hackers like no other. Also, we saw the tension between Eddie and Iris completely bubble over.

So where do we go moving into next week? “Who Is Harrison Wells?” is the title for this episode, and the “Arrow” crossovers are going to keep continuing. After seeing Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh tonight, next week’s new episode will feature appearances from Paul Blackthorne as Captain Lance and Katie Cassidy as Laurel. Hopefully, Lance is in a little bit of a better mood than he’s been in lately after trying to capture the Arrow at all costs. At least Lance could play a part into figuring out more of Wells’ past. The synopsis below teaches us about that, and also the meta-human of the week in Hannibal Bates:

“Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head to Starling City to continue their investigation of Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance (guest star Paul Blackthorne), and Cisco meets the Black Canary (guest star Katie Cassidy), who asks him for a favor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates (guest star Martin Novotny) who can transform himself into every person he touches – which includes Eddie (Rick Cosnett), Iris (Candice Patton), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and even The Flash.”

Hopefully, this Hannibal can at least be the second-scariest character named Hannibal on TV in the past year. Good look topping Mads Mikkelsen.
