‘Longmire’ season 4: Progress reports and more courtesy of Katee Sackhoff, Cassidy Freeman
You have to love both the passion of “Longmire” fans on Twitter, and the desire of the cast and crew to continue reaching out to them. We feel like the bond there is infinitely closer after all worked so hard to bring the series back for a fourth season, and everyone involved in the show is doing their part to try to pay that forward and give back.
Let us begin first and foremost here with a progress report: The first and second episodes of the new season (debuting on Netflix later this year) are seemingly done! This was confirmed on Twitter by series star Cassidy Freeman, who also made it clear that the third episode of this season will be entering production on Monday. It does actually feel like production is going by rather quickly, and the folks behind the scenes are doing a good job of keeping most major secrets under wraps.
The image below comes to us ultimately via Freeman’s co-star Katee Sackhoff, and it is a rather gorgeous shot of the Sheriff and also the American flag against the backdrop of the sun. Pretty stuff. Filming takes place in New Mexico, and they have many more weeks to go until this is over. Maybe around the time that it is we will have some more information in regards to a premiere date. The one thing that we would tell you right now is that patience is key. Good things are coming! It may just take some time for them to arrive.
