‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: First look at ‘spinning’ act Billy & Emily

The premiere of “Britain’s Got Talent” is coming to ITV on Saturday, and judging from the preview video below, there is more than likely just one word that we would use to describe it: Nuts. This video features a performance from Billy & Emily, two performs who have a knack for spinning themselves around while also doing poses and choreography and also wearing roller skates. It’s simply insane, and it has all the judges terrified for their safety.

The sheer physicality and focus of what they are doing is pretty impressive, but you also have to imagine that these two have way more up their sleeve than just this. The show is always in need of great acrobats, and if they can pull this off, imagine what they could do with a larger stage on the live shows. Any time that you have an act within this “danger” category, it is typically either really wonderful or really stupid. There is not much in the way of middle ground.

There’s zero doubt that they will advance to the live round; given the lack of great acts in this category, we would also go ahead and put them right through to the live shows. If you know that something is particularly great, there is not much of a need to sit around and hesitate on it.
