ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: The danger Louise presents

We’ve probably stated enough at this point the sense of sadness we feel over the end of Louise and Nolan on “Revenge.” While they weren’t actually in a romantic relationship, there was something so sweet in the marriage that the two parties had. Nolan helped her escape her demons, but at the same time probably treated her a little too much like a baby bird who was unable to get out and fly on her own. Therefore, he kept secrets, and set himself up to be in a position where she could feel completely betrayed by everything that he was hiding.

Now that she knows the full extent of his lies, and the warning that Victoria Grayson through her way, it’s possible that the sands are shifting moving into the final episodes. Could Louise suddenly be dangerous? Based on what showrunner Sunil Nayar said to TVLine, this is certainly very much possible:

“Louise is someone who’s always looking for, not just love, but someone she can trust … Betrayal is a touchstone for her, and she’s learned a lot of new facts she didn’t know before — especially things that her husband didn’t tell her, like who Amanda Clarke actually was.”

While Louise has the potential to be rather nefarious, we are also not completely giving up on the idea of redemption for her. We know already that there is good in her heart, and there has to therefore be a way to bring some of that back out. It’s just going to take time and a ton of work to make it happen.
