‘Big Brother Canada 3’ review: Was Brittnee and Sarah’s ‘master plan’ a success?

There’s no doubting after watching tonight’s “Big Brother Canada 3” episode that Brittnee and Sarah are very good at one thing: Giving us wonderful theater within the context of the show. These two ladies came up with what they coined was a “master plan” to pretend like Johnny was the target, only to instead reveal later that it was actually Graig who they wanted to go home all along.

What’s interesting is that for most of the episode, we thought that Brittnee was way too mad with power. You never want to make it obvious that you’re playing games with people, since nobody likes looking like an idiot on TV. By not actually revealing that he was always the target, though, she did the right thing and kept her plan a secret. Also, in making it look like Johnny changed her mind, he is the one with all of the blood on his hands. That’s a pretty wise move for her to make since it keeps her slightly-less vulnerable to everyone else in the house.

Now, once again with our rant of the past couple of days: Graig’s not a bully. He is a bad player and a loudmouth, but he’s not doing anything that we would consider to be “bullying” behavior. If a guy who wasn’t so big or strong was doing what he was doing, we wouldn’t be using that word at all. He’s just an easy target for so many reasons.

This episode was rather strange in that quite a few people received little or no airtime. Heck, the only thing of substance for Jordan and Ashleigh was wearing their scuba gear as a punishment. This was still a solid episode, even with an ending you could see coming even if you are not a feed viewer. Grade: B.
