Is ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 19 new tonight on ABC?

Revenge -Revenge” fans, be prepared to exercise a little patience here yet again. There have been a few hiatuses that have slowed down the pacing of the schedule for the fourth season, and we’re going to be stuck with another one tonight. However, if there is any sort of positive news that we can offer you for the time being, it is this: At least this is not going to be a particularly lengthy one!

Tonight, ABC is opting to preempt the show, mostly because they have a tendency to use Easter Sunday to share the movie “The Ten Commandments.” While this does at times draw decent ratings for them, it may not do anywhere near as well this time around for one simple reason: It is airing against the NBC miniseries “A.D.,” which is expected to be a serious force to be reckoned with.

New episodes of “Revenge” return next week with “Exposure,” which is technically a new installment. However, many early indications that we have suggest that this could be in part a clip show to catch you up to speed on the characters and their journey to this point. Sure, nobody really likes these, but we would offer you up two things here to consider.

1. This episode is not going to be taking away anything from the rest of the season, so there is no real need to be upset about it in this context. It was added to the 23-episode order

2. This episode is timed pretty well, given that we are coming off of the big reveal that Emily Thorne is actually Amanda Clarke, and everyone knows. This is a chance to revisit some of her old schemes.
