‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: All about ‘You Know Where to Find Me’
“Chicago Fire” has a little bit of a dilemma throughout the month of April. There are only so many episodes in its third season, and the challenge there comes in finding the right weeks to air them, and the right weeks to stay away. Given that they want to preserve as many as possible for the May sweeps, where ratings matter more than any other time, it means we’re getting more repeats sooner rather than later.
Tuesday, you’re going to get a chance to see the much-anticipated backdoor pilot for “Chicago Med,” but after this particular episode airs, you’re not going to be getting another one for another two weeks. That means that in many ways, you are actually going more than a month between typical episodes of the series. The April 21 installment of the show is entitled “You Know Where to Find Me,” and you can see the synopsis for that below:
“Truck and squad are called to the scene of a car crash that has Mills (Charlie Barnett) desperately working to save the life of a driver seriously injured in the wreck. Meanwhile, Casey (Jesse Spencer) has some doubts about Jack Nesbitt (guest star Eric Mabius), whose strip club he is remodeling on the side. Elsewhere, Hermann (David Eigenberg), Otis (Yuri Sardarov), Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Chaplain Orlovsky (guest star Gordon Clapp) help get their team ready for the peewee hockey championship, but Herrmann might prove more of an obstacle than the other team.”
Given that the “Chicago Med” episode may stuffed full of drama (that happens when one of your major stories revolves around a potential chemical attack in a hospital), we feel like the show probably needs to have some time to tell some lighter, happier stories. Save for the what’s going on with Mills and maybe Casey, it looks like there could be some fun moments in here.
