‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: A possible Callie love interest surfaces

The Fosters -How is “The Fosters” looking to make up for the loss of one of its major characters in season 3? We’ve got some potential answers for you below, but be warned that there are some major spoilers ahead in case you haven’t heard yet about the season 2 cliffhanger.

Still with us? Well, it seems like the show may be trying to make up for the loss of Jesus (Jake T. Austin), regardless of if the characters dies or just is written out of the show in some other way. According to a new report coming in now from TVLine, the series is going to be debuting a new character in season 3 by the name of Tony, who is an attractive, quirky character who also likes to dabble in music. If someone hears him perform, they will probably understand why.

The report speculates that he could end up being a Callie love interest or a good friend for Brandon, and for us both seems like the most likely scenario. This is one of those series where the more complicated you make things, the better off the series is as a whole. What’s more fun than throwing a wrench into the Callie / Brandon relationship? Everyone would put on a nice smile on the surface, but there could be so much more pain and frustrating boiling underneath. This just adds another layer of fun to the proceedings.

Season 3 should premiere in the summer, and if it turns out anywhere similar to season 2, “insane” is definitely the word we’d use to describe it.
