‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 19 preview: Callen, Kensi transform for undercover operation

Rage -The sad news for all fans of “NCIS: Los Angeles” is this: There is no new episode of the series airing on CBS for the next two weeks. When the show does return, it will do so with an installment called “Rage” that sounds in theory like it will be all sorts of fun just from a case standpoint. Given how many times we merely talk about explosions and one-liners in “NCIS: Los Angeles” preview articles, this is a welcome change.

For one, this new episode is going to feature an undercover mission like no other, with Kensi playing the part of a biker girl in the process. As for who the team are taking down, let’s just say that these guys are not going to be fun in any sense of the word. Take a look at the synopsis below for some further scoop, including a flashback that could give you some interesting insight into the team’s history:

“Callen and Sam resume their undercover identities as a prisoner and guard to infiltrate a white supremacist group believed to be in possession of stolen nuclear material, while  Kensi transforms herself into a tattooed biker to play the part of Callen’s girlfriend.  Also, Callen’s first meeting with Hetty is revealed.”

Of course, there is one question that we do find ourselves wondering after reading something like this: Do we really need this flashback? Is there anything that we are going to get out of seeing this first meeting? We’re not sure that we are going to, and while it may be fun, we wonder if there is a point behind it. Watching Kensi and Callen have to play boyfriend and girlfriend will be fun to see – will Deeks feel a little jealousy?
