‘Bones’ season 10, episode 12 preview: Emily Deschanel’s Brennan enters social-media world

Bones -Tonight, “Bones” returned after a very lengthy hiatus on Fox, and hopefully everything from Avalan’s reappearance to all of the Sweets memories helped you to further remember why you love this show so much! Clearly, there is a certain element of humor to everything, but you also have some clever mysteries and plenty of heart / emotion thrown in there. When you combine all of these elements, you have a show that is easy to get behind. That’s why it has been on the air so long in the first place.

With that, let’s move forward now to previewing “The Teacher in the Books,” the new episode airing on Fox next week. There are quite a few things to look forward to in this installment, but for us, one of the most notable is going to be getting to see Brennan actually sign on to social media for the first time in order to promote her new work. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“When an affluent school teacher is found dead in an abandoned bookstore, the teachers and students at her school become suspects in the case. Meanwhile, Brennan’s publisher encourages her to join Twitter to help grow her fan base, and “squintern” Jessica Warren (guest star Laura Spencer) teaches Brennan some tricks to master the Twitter-verse, skills Brennan enthusiastically puts to use.”

By the end of this episode, we want to see Emily Deschanel’s character in full touch with technology. Can you imagine her doing a Reddit AMA? If nothing else, we feel like her responses would be wonderful without that pesky 140-character limitation.
