‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: The cast takes off to New York City

The latest -Well, ABC is still choosing to be blissfully oblivious to the fact that the majority of America knows who “The Bachelorette” is. Still, we’ll choose to not spoil it here for the sake of keeping in line with their wishes, but we will at least tell you now where the show is heading for what is most likely their first episode this season outside of California.

In a post on Twitter, show host Chris Harrison has confirmed that there is going to be an event (most likely a group date) in New York City tomorrow; not only that, but apparently Doug E. Fresh is going to be in attendance, which is right on the same Random-Meter as getting Boyz II Men recently. This date will more than likely be fun, mostly because you’re not bringing Fresh around to get him to sit there and judge part paintings. Music is almost surely going to be a theme, and we kind of hope that it’s a revived version of that hilariously terrible rap from Desiree Hartsock’s season.

While we’re not saying whether or not Britt Nilsson or Kaitlyn Bristowe is the leading lady this season, this is the sort of date that does for the most part seem to favor Kaitlyn. She has more of this fun, outgoing personality that would mesh well with this. Then again, it would probably be a more brave thing for Britt to do, given that it would be so far out of what we would generally expect to be her comfort zone.

We will have some more updates from this season of “The Bachelorette,” provided that they are shared in some sort of outlet already.
