‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 18 preview: Does Deeks have any secrets?

When you watch the promo below for Monday night’s new “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode, one things very clear from the beginning: So much for us thinking that this was going to be a potentially-humorous episode of the show at times. There is something interesting and quirky that comes from separating Deeks and Kensi, after all. (We have more on that in the synopsis below, if you haven’t seen it already.)

What the promo really tells us more than anything else is that this is going to be a pretty shocking episode at times, one filled with stern warnings and the possibility of major secrets getting out there. Deeks is hyped us as a potential secret-keeper, but there is not so much in the video itself to serve as proof of that.

Now, let’s get back to that synopsis:

“When three FBI agents are killed in an explosion following a successful undercover sting operation, the team searches for the person behind the attack. Meanwhile, Deeks and Kensi realize the team knows about their relationship, as Hetty pairs Kensi with Sam and Deeks with Callen during the investigation.”

If nothing else, it’s good for the Densi relationship to get out in the open. This is a relationship that in some ways needs to evolve naturally and over time. The rest of the team figuring out about this is really just the next move in the process.
