‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ alum in as regular

Heroes -After spending a heck of a lot of time keeping things under wraps, the cast for “Heroes: Reborn” is starting to quickly come together.

It has been known for some time that Jack Coleman was returning to the series as Noah Bennett a.k.a. the Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses, and that he was being joined by “Chuck” star Zachary Levi. Earlier this week, we learned that former “Once Upon a Time” star Robbie Kay had a major role, and we now can add Judith Shekoni to the list. Per a report from E! News, the actress, best known for her role in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part II)” has been cast for a role that is still shrouded in mystery. You really cannot be altogether shocked by this, given that every single role on the series right now has been presented in similar fashion.

Why all of the secrecy? We do understand it when you are a DC Comics show or something like “The Walking Dead,” where you are adapting a source material and want to ensure that spoiler fiends do not figure you out right away. We don’t get the logic of doing it here, when no one really knows what you are planning to do in the first place. There is no built-in source material here, and the show simply chooses to do whatever it wants.

There is no firm premiere date yet for the series, but you can expect it to start up at some point this summer on NBC.
