ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: When to expect big Stana Katic story

In some ways, you can argue that almost every episode of “Castle” these days contains a big Stana Katic story; after all, she is a lead on the show, and therefore is involved with everything at the NYPD.

With this being said, we have some further news now on what may be an especially big story for Stana Katic’s character. According to a new report coming in from TVLine, the upcoming 150th episode of the series is going to have a major element of “Beckett mythology” in it. The question that remains is just what this sort of mythology will be. Bracken seems to be taken care of for now, but we wouldn’t put it past the show to find a way to surprise us anyway. Maybe it will be something that ties into a story we really have not seen on the show before. As we saw with Castle’s kidnapping at the end of last season, this is not a series that is opposed to introducing new elements at this point in the game.

So what happens in the finale itself? There isn’t so much known about that episode, but we hope that it really does tie into the disappearance again. One of the biggest criticisms we have for season 7 is that somehow, Rick does not seem to be particularly upset or concerned at the moment that he has lost a very huge chunk of his life, and he was basically told to forget all about it.

Could this 150th episode end up being the penultimate episode of the series? We still have to consider that it’s theoretically possible, given that ABC has not announced their renewal plans just yet. Hopefully, that is something that they will be doing at some point in the reasonably near future.
