‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 24 review: Was Alison DiLaurentis found guilty?

Liars -As the trial for Alison DiLaurentis started to come to a close on “Pretty Little Liars” Tuesday night, we asked ourselves one other question: Do we even know a whole lot more about who killed Mona than we did early this season? The only thing we know for sure is that “A” is starting to get more and more aggressive, and that the show is really doing a good job of playing up Andrew to be something more than a nice guy.

After all, Aria found out near the end of the episode that this guy was an expert scout, and Mike was already attacked while out in the woods. This was enough evidence to us for there to be some sort of further investigation, but for some reason the police were not that interested in biting. Crazy Rosewood cops! This sort of thing tends to happen here all the time for some reason.

In the end, the real highlight of this episode for many is still going to be the chilling sight of the Liars all taking their own booking photos, and being put behind bars. Why would they end up there? The show didn’t do a great job of explaining it, but we feel like it is tied back to them being potential accomplices in the murder. When Alison was found guilty, this changed the game for all of them. In a way, you have to wonder: Is “A” satisfied now? Next to killing them, this is one of the worst things that you can do. Some may even call it a fate just as bad depending on the sentence. (Then again, after watching the promo, maybe they are not in jail, after all.)

Hopefully, next week’s finale will provide us with an escape plan, and a chance for the men of the show to step up to the plate. Grade: B.
