‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 17 preview: When will Joseph Morgan, cast return?

Tonight, we had a very big episode of “The Originals“: After all, you had everything from Dahlia to the struggle of Eva to try to take back her own body from the invading Rebekah. “Crazy” is probably the most fitting adjective that we would use to describe this.

As for how we would describe the wait that is coming up now, we would also use another word: “Long.” After all, there are no more episodes of the series on The CW until Monday, April 6. That’s a few weeks away from New Orleans, but may we introduce a little bit of silver lining into the mix here? When the show does return with new episodes, it will air a new episode every week until the end of the season. Isn’t that much exciting?

The promo below is definitely intense, mostly because you are throwing in here everything from Eva’s continued struggles to Klaus and Elijah bracing for what is the latest threat. We really just hope that there is some sort of consistent thread that we see over the course of the rest of the season. One of the biggest issues that we’ve had with most of the season so far is that there have been almost too many small stories, and not enough of something that lasts from start to finish. Also, it’s starting to feel like there are around a billion different members of the Mikaelson family. That’s quite a big mouthful of people to keep track of.
