‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: ‘Once Upon a Time’ alum Robbie Kay cast

Heroes -We have already seen Robbie Kay with the ability to “never grow up,” so what sort of powers could he have on “Heroes: Reborn“? We could be set to find out at some point in the near future.

According to Deadline, the “Once Upon a Time” alum famous for playing Peter Pan has been cast in a very important (but still unknown) role in the revival of the Tim Kring – NBC series. He joins “Chuck” alum Zachary Levi as two of the new additions playing original characters, and just based on those two names plus the returning Jack Coleman alone, we’re intrigued. Our expectations were pretty low when this was first announced (the original series was never particularly great after season 1), but they are starting to rise with almost every week. We also like just how close to the vest they are keeping many of the details right now, knowing that there is serious value in secrets.

This show will launch at some point in the months ahead, and the reason that we love the Kay casting in particular is that it gives him another chance to show what he can do. While we did not love the entire Neverland story on “Once Upon a Time,” he was quite good and even at times terrifying during it. We’ll never think of Pan the same exact way again!

So far, Zachary Quinto is among the original stars who have confirmed they will not be returning to the series, but we do expect a few returning faces here and there to be announced at some point in the weeks / months ahead.
