‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 16 spoilers: Maisie Richardson-Sellers sets the stage

Suffice it to say, there’s a heck of a lot happening on “The Originals” right now. You’ve of course got the threat of Dahlia, who is soon to arrive on the show and potentially cause all sorts of problems for Klaus, Elijah, and Baby Hope. Then, you also have everything with the werewolves, and of course Rebekah starting to fight a battle against Eva, the woman whose body she possessed.

Speaking to TVLine, the woman behind these dual roles in Maisie Richardson-Sellers teased that “there’s definitely going to be a battle” taking place very soon between Rebekah and Eva for control. That should be fun to watch, especially from an acting standpoint! She also went on to describe some other general things you can expect to see Monday night:

“In the next episode, we learn more about Freya’s backstory with Dahlia, so we’ll know exactly who we’re dealing with and how serious the threat is. The fact that the family also has this Rebekah/Eva situation to deal with isn’t going to make it easy for any of them.”

Based on what we’ve heard, this is also the episode where we are going to start to see Dahlia for the first time! That in itself is quite the interesting proposition, and we’ll just have to wait and see how everything unfolds over the course of the crazy handful of episodes ahead.
