‘House of Lies’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Is Jeannie going into labor?

Is Jeannie set to leave “House of Lies” a few episodes before the finale? Based on the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s new episode, it seems at least somewhat possible that Kristen Bell’s character is going into labor.

In the sneak peek below, Jeannie is in some sort of pain, which causes Doug to do some of what he does best: Freak out royally over what is going on. He scrambles to figure out what he is supposed to do in this given situation, and she tells him that she’s fine, and just needs some water. In her mind, she’s not going into labor. (We’ll have to wait until this episode airs to learn whether or not that is true.

What we can say is that Doug has another interesting theory about her sudden pains: It’s very well possible that she is just feeling some anxiety over getting set to have dinner with most of Marty’s family. To us, this is mostly a great sign that he is starting to coming around to being a father again, after showing for the most part no sympathy whatsoever to being a parent.

As for the second sneak peek released by Showtime for this episode, this is a little bit of a harder one to describe. There are plenty of bleeps in here for one, and it’s more about company profits and Marty’s financial situation than anything with Marty and Jeannie. We only tend to love the business side of the show personally when it relates to some of our main characters. Just a personal thing.
