‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Will Liz Keen make it through court?

So far on “The Blacklist,” we have seen Elizabeth Keen make it through a variety of different situations. Could making it through court be next on the priority list?

In the sneak peek below from Thursday’s episode, you can see her being sworn in, and when it comes to what happened to the Harbormaster, almost everything is at stake. Sure, there is a little bit of the natural promoting-a-show hyperbole thrown into this promo, but most of it is true. If the wrong thing is discovered from Liz here, the entire task force as we’ve come to know it could be shut down. In turn, this means that the collaboration with Reddington disintegrates, and we know that he doesn’t want that.

With all of this in mind, Red’s on a different sort of mission this time around than what he is traditionally accustomed to. Rather than trying to find someone to destroy, he wants to find someone with a very specific premise in mind: Find Tom Keen. Red knows that he is the key to the kingdom, and he needs to be discovered if there is any real hope of ensuring Liz’s freedom. The problem is of course very simple: No one knows for certain where he is.

This episode is entitled “The Major,” and the one that follows is entitled “Tom Keen.” Just when you hear that alone, you should get at least a reasonably good idea as to where the story is heading going into the next part of the season.
