‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20 spoilers: Chris Soules FINALLY confirmed

After a great deal of speculation, it is finally confirmed: Chris Soules is going to be a part of the upcoming 20th season of “Dancing with the Stars.” The Iowa farmer and former “Bachelor” made the news official on “Good Morning America,” stating that this was going to be a small change of plans for himself and his new fiancee Whitney Bischoff rather than going right back to Arlington, Iowa, the tiny town in which he calls home:

“So instead of moving to Arlington, we’re going to be moving to LA for a couple weeks at least to be on Dancing With the Stars.”

Chris is going to be paired with a woman with a very similar name to his own fiancee in Witney Carson, who is the reigning champ this season after her run with Alfonso Ribeiro. Do the two have some sort of real shot at winning? We suspect that the popularity from this show will buoy him … but only to a certain extent. The reality here is still that most “Bachelor” alumni have a hard time competing on this show for a variety of reasons, with the biggest one being that they’re not natural entertainers. Chris is not used to actually putting on a show; based on what we’ve seen, he is a terrible dancer.

The one thing that he and his fiancee Whitney better be prepared for are some long days. This show is not an easy commitment to take on, and it will be a very different life than the one he is currently living.

What do you expect to see from Chris on “Dancing with the Stars”? Share with a comment.
