‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Britt Nilsson, Kaitlyn Bristowe will both star

While there was not necessarily a whole lot said about “The Bachelorette” in the past week, much of that changed today with rumors and reports that something game-changing was going to be happening with the franchise. In a way, ABC really needed this to give you something to look forward to. Chris Soules picked two people for the finale of “The Bachelor” that were completely drama-free, so there was almost nothing to discuss during the “After the Final Rose” special.

As it turns out, both Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe are going to be the Bachelorette! Strange, right? The funny thing about this reveal is that nobody really seemed to love it that much in the audience. Also, Chris Harrison seemed to make it like it was some sort of “divided” decision among fans, but statistically, it really was not as divided as it seemed. The majority of CarterMatt readers seemed to pick Kaitlyn as their ideal Bachelorette, and the studio audience seemed to favor her so much more than they did Britt.

Here is the thing: Britt is the more emotional of the two, but she fits the mold more of what a leading lady on this show should be. However, Kaitlyn has a great sense of humor, and is a little different than the normal contestant.

While specifics were not really given on the new season, it seems like the men are going to ultimately decide what happens here. This isn’t that “revolutionary” of a twist, since it did happen on a very old season of this show.
