‘Bates Motel’ season 3, episode 2 preview: First look at ‘The Arcanum Club’

Did you enjoy the season 3 premiere of “Bates Motel”? Well, maybe “enjoy” is not necessarily the right word for it, but this was an episode of the show that really threw you into the waters of the Norman Bates story.

By the end of this episode, what you may be wondering is rather simple: Has Norman stepped up his killing game? We met Annika early on during Monday’s episode, and we quickly learned after that about Norman’s newfound infatuation for her. Note to Annika: This is really the last man you ever want to have infatuated with you. It’s a problem. When she asked for directions, what we ended up seeing instead is a woman who has seemingly vanished off the face of the earth. Is this Miss Watson all over again? It is certainly possible.

“The Arcanum Club” is the title for this next episode, and you can see some news of what to expect via the synopsis below (via SpoilerTV):

“Norma and Norman focus on Annika’s disappearance; Norma learns the truth about the Arcanum Club.”

Hopefully, we are going to have a chance to see a full promo for this at some point in the near future, and this should give us some insight into what Norman and Norma are doing now. One of our biggest questions for the time being is this: Is she going to turn a blind eye to the evidence that is here?
