Are you ready to see a reunion of sorts on Tuesday night’s “Agents of SHIELD“? Well, you better brace yourself for the return of Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif. While it will be exciting to see her thanks to her history in the “Thor” movies, we are somewhat worried about what is going to happen to her. Why is that? Just think about some of the amnesia she is about to suffer.
Speaking in a new interview with TVLine describing what you can expect to see from this story, Alexander sets up the basic premise of her character’s return with the following quote:
“She’s on an undercover mission, she tracks down [her target] and they get into a pretty brutal fight … She ends up having severe memory loss when all is said and done.”
She also explains more or less where she goes from here, and how Coulson and company are going to be lending her a helping hand:
“[The S.H.I.E.L.D. team] has let her know, ‘By the way, when you’re sent on a mission, you usually don’t stop until you’re done,’ so that’s her main concern — finding this being that she was fighting and figuring out why she was supposed to find him.”
Is it possible that we see Alexander on the show again? It’s a strong possibility, since she has such huge connections to this universe. The issue here could just be timing; SHIELD has many other missions, and Alexander has also booked a pilot deal elsewhere.
