‘Outlander’ episode 9 spoilers: New details on April 4 return

“Outlander” fans, take a deep breath: The waiting is getting far closer to being over. Come April 4, new episodes begin again on Starz!

Just to make that wait a little easier to handle, we have at least short synopsis for the show’s first episode back, entitled “The Reckoning.” This will be a rescue mission, and as told previously, it will be told from the perspective of Sam Heughan’s Jamie rather than Claire. It’s a chance for the show, but a welcome one since it allows us access to a brand new point of view we did not quite have before. Take a look at it below, courtesy of SpoilerTV:

By the end of this episode, we will hopefully have a better sense of where Jamie and Claire stand. They’ve clearly shared their fair share of passion, but there will be so much more in the way of layers for the two. A relationship is not just physical, or emotional on a certain level. The deeper that these two get into their new marriage, the more complicated the series becomes.

As for Black Jack, this man is ultimate nightmare fuel to many out there. We suppose that most of the credit there goes to actor Tobias Menzies, who does a great job of making this guy into the worst possible person to meet within this world.
