‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: First look at ‘The Leftover Thermalization’

Big Bang Theory -Thursday night brings us another new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” and this is one that could contain quite a few classic shenanigans when it comes to Leonard and Sheldon. Why is that? It’s all about ego and credit. A new scientific paper is about to come out, but there is one problem with it: Even though Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons’ characters co-wrote the paper, it will list Sheldon instead as the sole author.

What is going on with this? There are a variety of different theories one can have about it, including that the publisher made a mistake, or that Sheldon himself decided to assume the majority of the credit for the work. We would definitely not put it past him to make such a move. This story should be fun, but let’s be honest here: It is not going to be breaking any new ground.

The other significant story that will present itself in this episode revolves around getting a chance to see Mrs. Wolowitz’s house on more time, as there is a dinner that will be held there honoring her under some unusual circumstances. Maybe we will see this set again at some point if Howard and Bernadette decide to move there, but for now, this feels like a natural way to further say goodbye to the location and the set.

We’ll have some further sneak peeks as we get closer to this episode airing. Stay tuned.
