‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 15 preview: Owen, a crisis, and technology

There is a sense of disaster in the air on “Grey’s Anatomy” Thursday night; luckily, these are all characters who have been through this sort of thing before, and should be more than qualified to lend a helping hand.

In the case of Owen, he does his best in the sneak peek below to help a young child whose mother has seemingly injured herself. She tried to call 911, but the line was busy (most likely due to there being so many people all desperately in need at the same time). The unfortunate thing for Kevin McKidd’s character is that while he may be adept at quite a variety of things when it comes to the medical profession, one thing he still struggles at is knowing how to properly use the hospital phone system.

He realizes right away that it is going to be very difficult for him to really be a help to the girl, given that the lobby of the ER is packed and full of distractions. Therefore, his mission is simple: Try to get to another phone. Not as easy as it sounds.

We imagine that there will be a sense of panic and chaos throughout the hospital, and while most of these doctors are qualified to handle this sort of thing, accidents still happen. That is why we’d still be worried if you are a fan of this show, even if you don’t get any early indication that one of your beloved favorites is in any danger.
