‘The Bachelor’ finale spoilers: Chris Harrison on Chris Soules, Arlington, Whitney Bischoff, and Becca Tilley

We are almost to the moment of truth on “The Bachelor,” where Chris Soules will have to do his best to figure out whether or not to propose to either Whitney Bischoff or Becca Tilley. Both have shown to be contenders, but only one will be the person to actually get engaged to him at the end … and we’re still assuming that this is going to happen.

As you would expect given the circumstances at the moment, Chris Harrison is not particularly keen to tip his hat one way or the other. Instead, the show host merely discussed the subject of the finale to TV Guide, and it is really his parents who really helped to make the decision that he felt to be right in the end:

“We go back to Arlington, and his parents get involved and are the voice of reason. He sees the light in many ways after he talks to them, but they don’t mince their words and it shakes Chris. I don’t think there is a perfect choice or an easy choice, and he’s clearly in love with both so it’s an emotional one for sure.”

Ultimately, it feels like this is going to be a heck of a powerful finale from the standpoint of love and family, though we don’t expect fireworks anywhere near what we had on the finale of the show this past season with Andi Dorfman. Despite all of the claims of this being the craziest season yet, it really hasn’t been. There have been a few scandals, but even the Carly / Britt feud was made out to be something a million times worse than what it ultimately was.
