‘The Bachelor’ finale spoilers: Chris Soules torn over Becca Tilley, Whitney Bischoff

Are you ready to see a potential “Bachelor” proposal? That is going to happen on the season finale in a week’s time, but the preview that aired tonight hinted that you may not actually see Chris propose at all.

What is the biggest dilemma that he is facing at the moment? It is ultimately as simple as this: He does not know whether or not he wants to choose either Whitney Bischoff or Becca Tilley. He seems to be legitimately torn, and that is creating all sorts of drama when it comes to his friends and family. Nobody seems to know what to tell Chris in Arlington in order to tell him what he should do.

This finale is ultimately going to play out like so many others, despite whatever indecision Chris may have. You are going to see the ladies each spend a little bit of time with his family, and he will then meet Neil Lane, talk with him, talk with Chris Harrison, and the debate further. It may be the most overstuffed two hours of television that you could possibly see, and yet there are plenty out there who continue to eat it up regardless.

By the end of all of this, though, we should have one winner (Chris claims that he is still in love), and there will be an “After the Final Rose” special where both women should appear and talk a little more about what happened. Let’s be honest here, though: This is not even remotely the most shocking season in the history of the show. It’s not even in the top five.
