‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Chloe Bennet on what happens next for Skye

Chloe Bennet had a heck of a run on “Agents of SHIELD” in the fall, given that her character of Skye ended up seeing the ground shift under her feet … really in more ways than one. She is a part of the Inhumans! Does she really no what she is capable of just yet? Not entirely, but she will start to figure out that everything that happened is connected to her.

Speaking on the subject of what her character (otherwise known now as Daisy Johnson) knows in an interview with TVLine, Bennet explained how important it is going to be for her character to start to truly understand who she is. It is only after doing this she will start to figure out how to move forward:

“There was that huge earthquake, so there’s that slow realization of, “Ohhh, that happened because I got upset.” And then there’s going to be a lot of coming to terms with her newfound powers, her new “biology” of being an Inhuman. There’s a lot of resentment towards that, you’ll see. When people have had powers in the past in the history ofS.H.I.E.L.D., we always put them on the Index, and it hasn’t been the most welcoming reaction from the team, so it’s really going to throw a wrench into the mix. It’s going to test certain characters, to the point that they change. What happens when one of your own becomes someone that you’re used to protecting everyone else from?”

While we expect there to be awesome moments featuring some of the characters (including Skye), you have to be prepared to also see a little bit of fear. This is something that is natural anytime you are dealing with someone with powers.
