‘Gotham’ episode 19 preview: Return date speculation for Ben McKenzie, cast

Gotham -Let’s hope that you enjoyed Monday’s new “Gotham” episode entitled “Everyone Has a Cobblepot.” After all, you will be waiting for a long time to see the final episodes of the season unfold.

Hopefully, the promo after tonight’s episode (update: There is!) will make it clear just when the show’s return date is. After all, we’re not seeing at the moment that there is an installment coming for at least a few weeks. It could even be April before you see new episodes on the show again. Update: It’s confirmed to be April 13. Why the long wait? The easy answer to that is that there are only 22 episodes in a season, and you want to leave something until late April / early May. The show is really lucky in many ways to even have 18 episodes on the show already. We’re especially amazed that production managed to move so quickly on many of these.

These final four episodes should do a tremendous job of setting up the story of Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he attempts to really figure out where he stands in this city. Not only that, but he will start to look towards his personal future, as well. Hopefully, these episodes are all going to air uninterrupted, mostly so that we can have a real opportunity to enjoy them all without any breaks wedged somewhere in there.

We’re going to have some further news related to this series in the near future, so don’t worry: Even though there may be a TV hiatus, that does not even remotely mean that we are going to be taking one!
