Throughout the past month or so, we have had a real luxury of getting to see a variety of new “Castle” episodes every week. This has meant a really great chance to see everything from the PI saga, the return (and end) of 3XK, and also the pretty fun episode last week that revolved around possible travel to another planet.
So is the trend continuing tonight? Unfortunately, not so much. “Hong Kong Hustle” is not going to come on the air for two more weeks actually. The next episode will be on Monday, March 16 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and it revolves around a professional rival of sorts to Kate Beckett. This episode looks on paper to be a lot of fun, mostly because we are getting a chance to see some different emotions out of Beckett than we are typically used to.
Tonight, what you are going to see instead is mostly ABC buying time. Next week, there will be a three-hour “Bachelor” finale, so when it does return, it will come after the “Dancing with the Stars” two-hour premiere. There will be a variety of different stories to come both at the end of this month and the start of next one, and this leads eventually into what will probably be the season 7 finale in May.
At the moment, there is no official renewal for the show, but we imagine that this will be coming up sooner rather than later. The ratings for the show are still good enough, and the real thing to be resolved here will be the contracts for Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.
