‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 13 preview: Will Andrew Lincoln’s Rick shine in new role?

What happens when there is peace on “The Walking Dead“? Well, in some ways you have episodes like tonight, when there is not so much happening other than Glenn kicking some butt of the locals. This show does need a little bit of chaos in order to keep things crazy, and that is something that we may have on the next new episode of the show.

With that in mind, we present to you the latest promo! This one first of all features something we’re not used to seeing: Rick Grimes, sans beard, patrolling the streets as a sheriff again. Is he precisely what the town needs? That is a good question. The other one is whether or not he could eventually throw the entire town into anarchy. Rick is not a guy who is necessarily accustomed to peace at this point, and he’s not the same lawman he once was. In a way, he is somewhat of a conqueror at this point, taking what works for him and his crew.

Tonight’s episode was mostly a stepping stone, and we imagine that the biggest shockers are still to come … including whether or not we are going to get a chance to see a new, significant villain before the season comes to a close. There are still a handful of episodes left, and we feel like we are going to remain in Alexandria for a while. After all, the show has set up this society now in a big way.
