‘Mad Men’ season 7: Prepare to catch up soon on Netflix
“Mad Men’s” final episodes are preparing to premiere come Sunday, April 5 on AMC, and the fine folks over at Netflix seem to want to prepare you in advance for the end of Don Draper’s story.
It has reportedly been confirmed now that the streaming giant, who is a fine purveyor of most AMC content these days, will have the first seven episodes of season seven available on Sunday, March 22. This means that you have two weeks to catch up on the show before episodes will start airing again in real. Given that seven episodes is not too much, especially given that there are probably some out there who have already finished “House of Cards” season 3, we’re sure that many will figure it out.
We would recommend taking a look back at “Mad Men” if you found yourself checking out at times during season 6, in our opinion the weakest of the series. This season really packed in more action and significant character moments throughout, and it also ended with a few important revelations that are going to shape Don Draper’s home and professional lives forever.
The final episodes were filmed last year, so Jon Hamm and company have been forced to stay silent this entire time. Luckily, creator Matthew Weiner has a very strict no-spoilers policy, and nobody has ruined anything about the ending so far.
Netflix and AMC’s collaboration goes back a ways now. The streaming giant is in many ways responsible for “Breaking Bad” become a huge sensation, and it probably has also helped out to a certain extent “The Walking Dead.”
