‘Glee’ series finale spoilers: Jane Lynch on time jump, Sue Sylvester’s end

Sue -Is it really possible for Sue Sylvester to have her story come to a happy end on “Glee“? More often than not with these shows, we often see a temptation to try to ensure that the villains get what is coming to them. Then again, we don’t think that Sue is fully a villain. She is a microcosm in part of what is wrong with high school, but at the same time there is a caring soul hiding somewhere deep underneath the surface. Whether or not we see that the rest of the season, though, remains to be seen.

What we can at least tell you for the time being is that Jane Lynch does envision there being an interesting end for her character in the near future. Speaking on this particular subject in a new interview with TVLine, she confirmed the recent news when it comes to an upcoming time jump. Not only that, but she also expressed her excitement over the end:

“It’s a great ending … We jump five years ahead in the couple scenes of the last episode, so we’ll find out where all the kids are. Where Sue Sylvester ends up is pretty remarkable; I think people will really love it.”

Given Ryan Murphy’s affection for Sue, we feel fairly confident that this will be a happy end. There’s no real reason for the writers to pump the breaks and make her miserable, especially after what she did for Santana and her grandmother at her wedding.
